The video provides instruction to welders who wish to gain certification for welding pipe in the 5G position. Through a special lens, the CEV camera allows viewers to see each weld close-up as it is performed. Included are welding .375 inch wall pipe with the E-6010 and E-7018 rods; running the root pass, hot pass, and filler pass and cap weld. A review follows each weld. Viewers will see root penetration from the inside of the pipe as the root pass is being run, something most welders never see. A supplement is included.
