The program is designed to instruct welders who seek certification for welding plate. Viewers will see the procedure for welding 3/8" plate in the 2G, 3G, and 4G positioning with the E-6010 electrode. Included are: running the root pass, hot pass, filler pass, and cap pass (a review follows each pass). Proper welding techniques are explained as the welds are performed.
